NEWS ABOUT STATION NORTH ARTS.
Station North TV, envisioned in 2006,
is the brainchild of corporate communications generalist Kevin Brown and Baltimore City Communications.
Brown is spear-heading a consortium of area communications professionals in developing, operating and maintaining SNAC-TV.com, a creative arts and community-focused online video channel.“SNAC-TV is the first of its kind in any of the State of Maryland’s 23 designated arts districts,” said Rita Sweet, an online video industry analyst. “Kevin Brown has the leadership experience and vision to drive creative initiative like this across all platforms.”
“We view this opportunity as a digital extension of the Station North Arts Café Gallery and its brand,” said café co-owner Brown who will be the host of one of the first shows out of the gate, “Counter Culture,” a free-flowing informal coffeehouse-style talk show filmed at the Station North Arts Café Gallery. “From the day we opened our doors, we sought to provide a cultural canopy for this community and its visitors. We recognize the value in unifying creativity across art, music, food, film and design.
